Front Desk Professional

Canine Country Club in Katy, Texas is looking for upbeat, reliable, motivated dog lovers to work on our growing team. We are currently seeking a full-time Front Desk Professional.


Must be dependable, work well with others and LOVE animals. High School graduate; College degree or some college preferred. Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and web-based tools. Comfortable learning new computer systems. Customer-focused. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy, sometimes noisy environment. Previous experience with dogs a plus. Must be available for weekday, weekends and holidays.

Job Description

The Front Desk Professional provides exceptional customer service to our new and existing clients.
Daily responsibilities include:
  • Answer telephone in a consistent, professional and friendly manner.
  • Understand all services and pricing and be able to explain and sell over the phone and in person to our clients.
  • Greet all customers and provide intake services to new and existing clients.
  • Check all vaccination records for currency according to company policy.
  • Communicate and document special dietary or care requests to Kennel Technicians.
  • Provide prompt service to customers picking up dogs and communicate with back office technicians to prepare pets for pickup.
  • Understand billing system including application of coupons and promotional offers, processing payments and providing accurate invoice and receipts to customers.
  • Ensure kennel bookings are up-to-date and space availability is accurately recorded and communicated.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front office environment.
