Paws to Toes: Introducing Dog to Baby

Do you know how your dog is going to react when you bring home a small baby who is receiving extra attention? The arrival of  a new baby is a big change for every member, including the four-legged one! Come learn how to prevent undesirable behaviors that may grow from the addition of a new baby.

Included are some important topics covered during the seminar:

• Preparing your dog for the big change: Before the birth
• Learning to read dog body language
• Determining how your dog may react
• Jealousy and attention
• Resource guarding, territorial issues, and protective habits
• How to introduce dog and baby
• The first few weeks
• General Safety
• Training your dog
• Teaching your baby proper dog handling skills

Bandana Sales Benefit Rescue Dog!

As part of our program to help the humane society raise funds, we are selling Canine Country Club bandanas. They are $9.00 and ALL proceeds goes directly to the support and care of our rescue dog of the month program.

Grand Opening Party Postponed

Rain Check!

We’d rather celebrate in the sun than the rain!

Due to the projected forecast of thunderstorms in Katy, we are postponing our Grand Opening Party this Sunday, November 14th, 2010 and will reschedule very soon.

We prepared our Grand Opening Party with many outdoor activities, including dogs visiting from the Houston Humane Society, grooming, doggie arts and crafts and a bouncy house for your kids. We are postponing our party and preparing the fun for another day.

Thank you for all of your R.S.V.P.’s. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you very soon! Please keep your eyes peeled for our new party date.

Grand Opening Party!

We invite you and your family (including the four-legged members) to visit our new facility on Sunday, November 14th, 2010 beginning at noon until 4:00 pm. (We open for business November 19th.) We are excited for you to see our state of the art facility. Some of our amenities include private poolside Cabana suites, play yards, dog splash pad, training building, grooming spa, and more! Enjoy refreshments for both dogs and humans as well as a moon bounce for the kids. You can also meet Oreo, our November rescue dog, at the party.  He is excited to show off his new training!
